Companies House is now usually taking around 8 working hours to form a company. If you need your company quicker than this and it's before 3pm, there is a  "guaranteed same day" option available.

FORMATION SERVICE CLOSING EFFECTIVE FROM 4th JULY 2025

It is with great regret and sadness that as of 4th July 2025, our company formation service will no longer be available for use. You may recall our notification to you in December 2024 that we were having to put our prices up in January 2025 to be able to cover our costs. Since then, Tony, the driving force behind the company has had several months in hospital with a serious illness which is likely to be ongoing. Since the price increase, whilst some of our customers stayed with us (thank you), unsurprisingly some no longer use us. We've kept the service going whilst Tony was unavailable but with fewer customers, and with Tony potentially not being around regularly, operating the service is no longer viable. Likewise, we don't just want to stop today because if you are expecting to submit orders this week and we've stopped the service with no warning, it's not fair, and one thing we've always tried to be over the years is fair. We therefore decided we'd keep the service active for another month

During this time, we are aiming to speak to another formation service provider where, with your permission, we can transfer as much of the company formation data as we can over to their system so that you have some level of continuation and access to a certain amount of your company information from our system. So that we can see how many of our customers would be interested in potentially having their details passed to another company for continuation of the formation services, please drop an email to customercare@mobunti.co.uk stating that you would be interested. Please notify your interest as soon as possible, but before Friday 13th June so that we know how many transfers we may need to do.

Because Companies House can take a few days to form a company, Tuesday 1st July will be the last day to submit a company formation request. Should we not be able to locate another company formation service, or you choose to find your own replacement provider, you should retrieve whatever information you require from the system during the next month. The service will not be accessible after Friday 4th July.
